The goal is to inspire students to embark on exciting career adventures in Work-integrated learning/Co-operative education (WIL/Co-op).

The course, “Introduction to WIL/Co-op for Indigenous students,” is coming in early May 2021.

What Does This Course Offer?

The course is designed to provide basic information, generate interest, and foster discussions between course facilitators and students. The goal is to inspire students to embark on exciting career adventures in Work-integrated learning/Co-operative education (WIL/Co-op). Here's what this course offers:

1. An opportunity to have discussions with course facilitators and other students about the challenges and benefits of WIL/Co-op programs at SFU.

2. An overview of the benefits, challenges, desired outcomes, and structure of Co-op programs at SFU

3. A discussion of some of the non Co-op programs available at SFU

4. Contact and resource information for students interested in following up with Co-op or other WIL programs.
