Being part of SFU Recreation as a volunteer has been amazing so far.  It’s a really welcoming environment which was a good fit for me. Through it I’ve really seen myself grow and everyone here is so supportive, the mentors push us grow, and the sports keep us involved.

It’s nice to see how much the people around me have grown with SFU Recreation. When participants join in, and you see their faces light up at play offs, when they’re excited and I really enjoy contributing to that positive feeling. I just want to keep doing that, it makes the experience so fun.
