On average, we hold three events per semester with the League of Legends Club (a multiplayer online game). A couple of months ago we even hosted an on-campus viewing party for the international League of Legends tournament. I’ve been able to do so many interesting things with this organization and I’ve met some tremendous people along the way.

I’ve made new friends and have even had the pleasure of meeting professional League of Legends players. Watching our members come together as a community and witnessing it grow is by far the most fulfilling part of my role. I’ve learned that SFU has a really vibrant community of students, despite the common misconception that it is a bleak school. In fact, you can have fun here; you just have to look in the right places.
