I think for me the most memorable thing I’ve done with SFU Punjabi Students Association (PSA) is one of our past events, the Sandwich Drive.
We made over 250 sandwiches to hand out Downtown over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was memorable for me because it was the first event I ever coordinated. Over 30 kids came out and everyone had a good time – we all went out Downtown and saw that we were making a difference.
I met a lot of my friends through PSA, and it’s such a great way to meet people. Whether they’re in your faculty or not, some of them will be really helpful to you. PSA gives everyone a platform, and I know so many alumni will come back with their own non-profit organizations for us to help.
