The MSE 222 term project requires teams to design, simulate and fabricate a 3’ X 3’ dynamic ball track system which carries a marble from the top left corner to the bottom left corner in the fastest time possible. The valid conditions of the ball track system requires the path to consist of a sloped, curved and flat path, as well as two change in directions. As a team our objective was to select a valid unique simple design which can accurately be modelled using principles of dynamics, as well maximize components of the ball track which would decrease the time of travel to the final destination. With these considerations we evaluate, model and analyze an optimal ball track design.
