I have a great passion for Hanfu (a movement to revive traditional Chinese culture, especially through clothing), and when I came to Vancouver, I was excited that SFU has a club that raises awareness for it.

As a member of Han Chinese ethnicity, there are a lot of traditions from my ethnicity that I hope can be revitalized, such as the coming-of-age Adult Ceremony. I have had opportunity to introduce Hanfu to local Canadians, which has helped me with my English skills. I love Hanfu, and I really hope I get the chance to introduce it to more people in the future!
