I founded this club about a year ago because I wanted to bring awareness to the environmental causes which I’m really passionate about. Our club gives students a multi-disciplinary platform to conduct activism of all kinds and they submit proposals for activism campaigns which they would like us to tackle. We then make consensus-based decisions regarding which projects to work on.

Last semester we ran a campaign that highlighted the environmental consequences of meat consumption. We also hold documentary screenings for our members. Being able to engage and foster relationships with like-minded students is what makes my job worthwhile. I’m really lucky to be surrounded by people who want to make the world a better place as much as I do. It brings me so much joy. Although it can be sometimes challenging to get our message to students, I’m committed to overseeing the club’s growth as we move into the future. This role has allowed me to refine my leadership skills in a way that’s proved to be absolutely priceless for my personal development.
