As a Health Sciences student, more classes I took, the more confident I felt to offer varied experience. I did Co-op too, so now it was more than just academic. I felt I could do a good job leading so I decided to make my way as a mentor, and work my way up to executive.

Eventually you and your mentees establish a good relationships. You get to see them moving on and it’s a great feeling, seeing them progress and adjust to life at SFU.
