Berlin offers one of the best educational experiences out there! It has been a privilege to study and create in such a dynamic city! 

Berlin’s prominent sites such as the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate offer insight into the rich history and culture of Germany. Seeing these sights in person offers an enriching experience like no other. Other notable sites include Haus der Kulturen der Welt. This Haus used to be a congress hall, but now houses stunning international artwork and forums on current topics. These sites are fantastic ways to engage in important scenes in history in person.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some local students. A few artistic projects this semester have been in collaboration with German students. This was an excellent opportunity to practise collaboration with artists. Partnering with these students presented me with new artistic perspectives and more connections with fellow artists. 

Studying in Berlin has been an excellent opportunity for significant growth both personally and in my artistic practice. I look forward to the second half of my study in Berlin, hoping for just as much adventure.
