My exchange became one of the best experiences of my life by allowing me to experience independence and connection. It has taught me that whenever I feel a sense of discomfort or fear of something new, that is a sign to push forward and take on a new opportunity.
My experience on exchange was a once in a lifetime opportunity that helped me foster new connections with friends from all over the world. I gained a lot of insight into what it is like to work with people of different cultures and backgrounds.
Going on exchange was the best decision I’ve ever made. Living independently in a different environment for 5 months was a lot of fun, but coming back home and realizing how much I matured in such a short time was even better.
Going on this exchange allowed me to intertwine my learnings about sustainable community development into my experiences abroad. By living in Copenhagen, I learned so much more about social welfare, sustainability and community development while living in one of the most sustainable cities in the world.
Study abroad was an eye-opening experience that allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and immerse myself in the culture and learning.
I met students from all over the world congregated in one place. Everyone was friendly and approachable; I could start chatting with strangers in the dining hall.
