Hello my name is Rebekah! I am Métis, my program of study is a History and French Double Major. Community was and is very important to me. As an only child and out of province student, community provided me with a sense of belonging at SFU. Since communities is centred around one or many common interests or shared traits, I found myself in many different communities during my time at SFU. They ranged from friends on residence to athletics, Indigenous groups on and off campus to Faith based communities and much more. Each community made my experience at SFU memorable.
