I volunteered throughout high school and was drawn to SFU because of its emphasis on community involvement. Fast forward a few years, I’m now a Big Brother with Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.

Being a mentor is a rewarding way to give back, you never know the impact that playing Lego or just throwing a ball around in the park together can have on a young person’s life.

I grew up with some great role models and really hope to be a positive one in my Little’s life. Being both huge fans, one of our most memorable moments together was going to see the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens.
