"The first couple of weeks here were so overwhelming. There were times that I'd feel so lonely and I just wasn't feeling too happy at first. I hadn't met so many people, it was just really tough for me. With time I just told myself that this is my new reality, this is not high school anymore, this is real life and you're getting ready for the real world. I felt so great to see that the university has a community where international students can meet and get to know each other and so it was actually one of the things that made me consider SFU."
