"Because I was interested in psychology experiments and strong at math, I was curious about how I could combine my strengths with my interests during my undergraduate years. I later found that Quantitative Psychology in the History, Quantitative, and Theoretical (HQT) area was a good fit with what I was looking for. My work in the Measurement and Modelling Lab (M&M Lab) involves the examination of the language effect on responses to questionnaires. It is important to investigate this effect because it can help ensure different language groups are able to obtain the same level of care.⁣⁣

Some general advice I have for undergraduate students is that when you have narrowed down your interests in Psychology, do not hesitate to apply for volunteer positions in research labs to gain more experience and confirm your interests in that field of study.”⁣⁣
