Position Title

For the Fall 2019 semester, I have been working for NETGEAR Canada as a Human Resources Intern. My job duties involve leading and assisting in many different projects and tasks. One of my main projects that I was individually in charge of was planning a Health and Wellness Fair for all employees. I was responsible for contacting vendors, creating logistic plans, and ensuring the event ran smoothly overall. I am also in charge of planning and organizing Lean-In meetings, which is a women only support group that is dedicated to helping women achieve their goals and break the “glass ceiling” stereotype. Along with planning philanthropic events each quarter, I help with general administrative tasks for co-op recruitment. Through my job duties, I have enriched my communication and time management skills through working with others in event planning, and juggling multiple tasks at once.
