My volunteer experience at SFU Anime Club started at about 2 years ago. Now as the president of the club, I oversee our other executive members, coordinate with other clubs to do outreach, and plan events that gather together the anime community at SFU.

At our last Halloween party, I enjoyed my first experience MC’ing an event! It was such a memorable party which activities like icebreakers and a cosplay contest, and I was really happy to see students who love anime coming together. My team is great, and it’s nice to work with an enthusiastic group who always has some new idea to contribute.
