During my first two years at SFU, I was so focused on academic achievements and my GPA.

Then after contemplating about my university experience, I decided that it was not right to be solely focused on academics in an environment that had so much to offer, so I decided to take a chance and actually get inolved with the people at SFU!

I looked for opportunities online and now here I am working as a Welcome Leader and 50th Anniversary volunteer. Initially I thought it was too late to get involved, but I think the experience has been worth it. I encourage you to put yourself out there, even in your 4th year and graduation is around the corner, it’s never too late.
