To support Indigenous students that are in need of additional educational support the First Nations Student Association (FNSA) matches the Office for Aboriginal Peoples contribution of $5000 to the Indigenous Student Centre. The FNSA has allocated $3000 to undergrads in need of support and $2000 to Grad students looking for tutoring through the Indigenous student centre.

Why should I become a tutor?
They say one of the best ways to learn something well is to explain it to someone else. By helping someone else you may find the gaps in your own understanding that you didn't know were there, and you'll find ways to fill them in.
You can change how a student feels about a class:
-
Do you have a sincere desire to help others?
-
Are you able to communicate effectively?
-
Do you have a 'B' or better in the subject you wish to tutor?
If you answered yes to all of these, then we invite you to apply for a rewarding position as an academic tutor.
