SFU Student
Position Title

"I viewed a Minor in Psychology as a natural complement to my Business degree. Both of my concentrations, HR and Marketing, incorporate psychological principles, such as how to motivate employees and encourage purchase decisions. That, along with with my own interest in the subject, made pursuing psychology an easy choice. ⁣

My favourite memory at SFU is from when I was tabling with the Hi-FIVE Movement during the 2018 Bell Let’s Talk Day event. I was tasked with speaking with students who came to the table to discuss their experiences with mental health. One of the first students I spoke with was very open about his past mental health struggles and how he was facing them. It was inspiring to see students from the SFU community be so honest about tough topics, and inspired me to continue being engaged on campus."

Rayhaan Khan is a fifth-year Business (Honours) Major (concentrating in Human Resource Management and Marketing) and Psychology Minor.
