This episode we are joined by Kirsten Campbell, a Communications Strategist, Ghostwriter and overall Marketing Tornado ( https://marketingtornado.ca/). She earned a marketing degree from the Beedie School of Business while honing her writing chops putting herself through said school as an ESL tutor. Analytical and creative, Kirsten has an uncanny ability to read a person or brand’s DNA and just “get” them. She can spot patterns and possibilities where others only see complexity. An ardent admirer of corporate snark played out on Twitter, Kirsten loves peanut butter cups and still isn't over the Mars Rover. Watch this video to hear all about Kirsten's journey to self-employment and her advice for SFU students/grads starting their job search.

34 How did a marketing and HR grad end up as a Communications Strategist and Ghostwriter (and what does a Ghostwriter do)?

35 What surprised you the most about being self-employed vs working in-house?

02 What advice can you offer students looking to start their job search?

25 What advice can you offer students who don’t know what to do with their business degree or are feeling lost?

09 What advice would you give someone who’s not necessarily pursuing a business degree but wants to go in to the field?
