By far, UNICEF is the most amazing time that I’ve had in any of my volunteering experiences. At the time, I was the Sponsorship Director and my role was to find sponsorships and cash donations for our large events.
I’ve always been into snowboarding, socializing, and meeting new people. I got introduced to SFU Ski during Clubs Days, and I was super stoked about it. We go on some awesome ski trips, to places like Whistler and Revelstoke.

The cultural shift that international students experience can be quite overwhelming. For this reason, belonging to a community is so important because when you come from abroad, you have so much time to yourself and it can be quite lonely.
